Platform update2026.07.18

Certificate design import, publication checks, and revision publishing

Authorized admins can import approved single-page PDF, PNG, or JPEG certificate artwork, configure controlled replacement fields, complete a publication check, and publish immutable revisions for policy-driven issuance.

Live in Company Admin and the Employee portal
Company AdminEmployee PortalCertificatesDocumentation
Imported artwork keeps its confirmed page geometry as a locked base instead of being forced into the legacy editor ratio.
Publishable drafts require certificate title, learner and target-title fields, visible Certificate ID text, and the platform verification QR.
A current publication check and explicit review confirmation are required before a revision can be published.
Authorized admins can use a watermarked private preview with an active learner and compatible target before publishing; the preview never creates a valid credential.
Published revisions are immutable; later edits create a new draft and do not rewrite already issued certificates.
Unreferenced never-published imported drafts can be discarded safely, while templates with published history use Archive and Restore.
Existing course and learning-path policy gates still own eligibility, while issued imported-template PDFs remain authenticated downloads with public verification details.

Certificate issuance now supports explicit policy gates and cohort-level approval

IgniteIQ certificate issuance is now policy-driven for courses, learning paths, and scheduled cohorts, with reusable templates, cumulative eligibility gates, manual review, evidence inspection, audited decisions, and learner-facing progress states.

Admins can choose No certificate, Manual approval, or Automatic after eligibility and attach an active reusable template.
Every selected non-approval gate is cumulative; unselected exam gates do not block content-only eligibility.
Scheduled cohort policies remain tied to the cohort, and their reviews appear under the Cohorts target filter.
Child course certificates are suppressed by default and can run only through an explicit active child-course policy.
Certificate Issuance supports evidence review, Issue, Hold, Reject, bulk actions, audited decisions, and a one-click operator playbook.

Course content translations now include review, repair, and safer publish readiness

Course translations now support French and Arabic learner-facing overlays with durable generation jobs, field-level review, AI repair checks, XLIFF import/export, explicit publish buttons, and learner language switching without cloning the source course.

Step 5 now contains Course translations so admins can generate selected or all supported locales before publishing.
Generated translations open in a dedicated review workspace for field-level editing, notes, approve, reject, request changes, and bulk approval.
Scan for repair and Fix issues can repair malformed HTML, source-looking text, RTL risks, and protected quiz or exam structure without exposing hidden IDs to admins.
Publish French, Publish Arabic, and Publish all reviewed are explicit actions so one locale is not published accidentally.
Learners see published localized course cards, details, modules, quizzes, exams, certificate course names, and a language switch while progress stays tied to the original course.

Scheduled Cohort Learning Paths now support class-style training programs

Learning Paths can now run as scheduled cohorts with tutor ownership, learner rosters, timezone-aware unlock times, optional expiry windows, schedule modes, publish readiness checks, and employee-facing Scheduled Classes.

Admins can create a cohort from a Learning Path, assign learners, choose a tutor, set timezone rules, and publish a schedule.
The Scheduled Cohort Course Library separates Ready to Schedule courses from Needs Publishing blockers before publish.
Learners see Scheduled Classes with Available now, Locked, Expired, and Unavailable states plus exact unlock and expiry times.
The employee Journey tree renders the scheduled cohort snapshot so class courses remain visible even when the reusable path graph is empty.
Backend access rules enforce schedule availability, and employee pages recheck unlock and expiry boundaries automatically.

Company Admin offline mode now keeps critical admin work visible during network drops

Company Admin teams can now keep navigating supported portal areas from the latest cached snapshot, see clearer offline state labels, and reconnect queued work through guarded sync flows.

Offline snapshot labels now explain when data is cached and when some actions still require internet.
Supported Company Admin pages stay available after they have been visited and synced online.
Connection banners now include retry and dismiss controls instead of trapping users behind a permanent warning.
Queued admin work uses backend safety checks so replay can succeed, fail clearly, or surface conflicts instead of silently overwriting data.
Platform update2026.04.07

Company Admin limits, permissions, and notifications are now visible and enforced

Department creation, certificate-enabled course usage, and notification visibility now match real platform behavior instead of hidden or mismatched rules.

Department creation now respects plan-based department limits.
Department permissions are hardened: owners create, admins manage members, and assigned heads manage only their own department members.
Certificate usage is measured as certificate-enabled courses, not reusable certificate templates.
Quota warnings and limit-reached events now surface in the notification bell and notifications center.
